Coconut Peach Cookies

2 C. Sugar
1 C. Butter or Margarine
2 Eggs
1 t. Vanilla
3 C. Flour Unsifted
1/2  t. Salt
1/2  t. Baking Soda
1/2  t. Cream of Tartar
1 C. Oatmeal (Quick Cooking)
1/2  C. Pecans
1 1/3  C. Coconut

1  Box Brown Sugar (2 ¼ Cups)
3  Eggs
2  C. Pecans
1  14 oz bag of Coconut
2  lbs Candied Orange Slices – cut up in small pieces
6  C. Flour
